Grill Food!

Grilling is a favorite pastime when the weather turns warm.  Skewers are simple and quick to make.  For me, grilling is best when charcoal is used.  I also prefer to grill in a park, preferably near a river.  What is your favorite pastime when summer arrives?

As many of you know, summers in the Southeastern U.S.A. can become sticky and unbearable.  The mountains, however, almost always offer cool weather, at least at varying times during the long days and nights.  The Blue Ridge Mountains are one of my favorite day-escapes from The City.  Where do you go when the weather becomes very hot?
